Job Summary At Superior, we rely on our Service Technicians to keep both our equipment and our customers moving forward. As a Rental Equipment Service Technician / Field Service Technician, you will perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment in a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manner. This role offers the opportunity to challenge yourself daily and grow into higher-level technician or leadership positions within our Service Department. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on rental equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems Travel to customer job sites to service rental and customer-owned equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle Support and assist in training entry-level technicians as needed Accurately complete daily paperwork and electronic work orders in a timely manner Assist with equipment and parts pickup and delivery Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to meet and maintain DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements, including passing a DOT physical and maintaining a valid medical card 3-5 years of experience in equipment or tool repair and maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools Experience working with various engines (diesel preferred) Must own tools relevant to the position Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs High school diploma or equivalent About Superior Product Distributors, Inc.
