Company Values Positive Attitude Continuous Improvement White Glove Service Extreme Ownership Position Overview We are seeking a DC Area Field Service & Installation Technician who will service, troubleshoot, and install TSUNAMI systems throughout both states. This role is regional and independent, ideal for someone with strong problem‑solving skills, comfort with fieldwork, and experience with electrical or networking systems. While installations will occur, the majority of the work will involve troubleshooting and replacing equipment such as point‑to‑point radios, power components, routers, NVRs, and camera systems. Stafford, VA is an ideal home base - but candidates in the Fredericksburg, Woodbridge, Springfield, or Alexandria areas will be considered. Responsibilities Service & Troubleshooting (Primary) Respond to IT service requests within 24-48 hours, Monday-Friday Troubleshoot network, electrical, and camera system issues Diagnose and repair: Point-to-point wireless infrastructure Power systems Routers & networking hardware NVRs TSUNAMI camera equipment Replace or install faulty components as needed Maintain communication with internal teams and (occasionally) customers Installation Duties Learn and become trained on all TSUNAMI installation methods Install systems on poles, buildings, and other structures Work at heights 20+ feet using ladders or lifts Pull and run Cat6 through buildings, attics, conduits, and more Work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions Travel & Coverage Travel throughout North Carolina and South Carolina Independently manage schedule, vehicle, and equipment Handle occasional direct customer interactions during service visitsRequirements Must-Have:
Experience in networking and/or electrical troubleshooting Ability to work independently without micromanagement Comfort working at heights (20+ ft) on ladders or lifts Ownership of a reliable service vehicle, preferably a truck capable of transporting a ladder Valid driver's license Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather A physical address where equipment shipments can be received Professional communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to cover all NC & SC regions with reasonable response timeNice-to-Have:
Previous IT, networking, or IP camera experience Experience with point‑to‑point networks Own a mobile lift (a plus, not required) Cat6 installation experience General understanding of routers and camera systems Equipment & Compensation Details Mileage reimbursement for all regional travel Credit card provided for field purchases Tools or equipment can be provided as needed All system‑specific training provided byTSUNAMI USA
