Field Service Representative

GA Foods is seeking to hire a Route Delivery Driver for our Fort Lauderdale location. Responsibilities Safe delivery of food items and supplies to customer homes/sites in a timely and accurate manner Vehicle upkeep and cleanliness Maintain food safety and handling procedures with compliance to temperature requirements Report any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptly Maintain driver scorecard and other required recordkeeping Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain service records Check vehicle fluid levels and perform general routine inspection of vehicle to ensure all is in working order Assist with packing and/or storing of food items, components and/or supplies as required Regular attendance required to meet employer's attendance policy to ensure customer deliveries can be accomplished as scheduled Other duties as assigned by management Experience Valid Driver License (No DUI in last 5 yrs., 0-4 Current Pts.) Good Communication and Customer Service Skills General Office Equipment and Computer Experience GPS and Tablet Technologies Min. 3 years prior route delivery/distribution exp. preferred ServSafe Food Handler Certification Physical Demands Under 1/3 Standing time Walk, Climb or balance Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl Taste or smell 1/3 to 2/3 Use hands to finger/handle/feel, Reach with hands and arms Over 2/3: Sit, See,Talkor hear Ability tofrequentlylift upto 50lbs Work Environment Work is performed outdoors and inside a vehicle Regular exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow This position follows a standard weeklyschedule,however, weekend work may berequiredbased on business needs.
