This role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and plumbing skills, along with the ability to provide excellent customer service and technical support. The ideal candidate will manage equipment installation and startup, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, train customers, and maintain accurate service documentation. When not traveling, this individual will assist with preparing installation kits, shipping equipment, and collaborating with internal teams to improve field service processes. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and commission industrial equipment at customer sites, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Perform startup activities, calibrations, functional testing, and safety checks to ensure equipment meets performance requirements. Diagnose and repair equipment issues and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, motors, sensors, controllers, and VFDs. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical drawings. Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures. Provide on-site, phone, and remote technical support while maintaining a high level of customer service. Maintain accurate service documentation, work orders, parts usage, timesheets, and expense reports using

CRM/CMMS

systems. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Project Management to resolve technical issues and improve service processes. Prepare tools, parts, and installation kits, and assist with equipment shipping and crating as needed. Follow OSHA and company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements. Travel domestically and internationally, including occasional overtime, weekend, and on-call support. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or equipment installation. Experience with industrial water treatment, chemical processing, or automation systems. Electrical systems (120/240/480 VAC, DC wiring, control panels) Mechanical systems (pumps, motors, gearboxes, frames) Plumbing systems (PVC, CPVC, PEX, stainless steel tubing and fittings) Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, climb ladders, and crawl. Comfortable working in industrial environments and around chemicals and water systems while using appropriate PPE.

Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
