Field Service Technician•
CNC & Industrial Machinery Compensation:
$80,000•100,000 +

Full-Time | Travel-Based Why Join Us? We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. We are a veteran-friendly organization and strongly encourage military veterans to apply. You will work independently from your home base, providing expert support for advanced CNC Lathes and Machining Centers. This is a hands-on role where you will be the "go-to" technical expert for our customers.
What You'll Do Troubleshoot & Repair:
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues on CNC machinery.
Install & Test:
Perform post-installation testing to ensure optimal machine performance.
Train & Educate:
Conduct on-site training for customer operators on machine function, maintenance, and safety.
Document:
Accurately log service activity, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions.
Travel:
Manage a regional travel schedule with regular overnight stays to support customer sites.
What You Need Education:
2-year technical degree (mechanical, electrical, or machine tool technology) or equivalent military technical experience or demonstrated experience in the maintenance field.
Experience:
Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment; proficiency with PLCs is a plus.
Skills:
Ability to read engineering drawings/schematics; skilled in using diagnostic tools (gauges, test indicators, force meters).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
