The FST will perform installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds of solar compacting waste receptacles. Work will be performed on location in Orlando Area Theme Parks as well as in the nearby service center facility. Travel to other area properties may be required on occasion. Interaction with the customer and the repair and maintenance agents of the customer will be required to train, advise, assist, and respond to questions and concerns. Obtaining expertise about the features, benefits, and maintenance requirements of the product through provided training and independent research is required. The FST will become qualified to make recommendations to the customer and company about customer needs and opportunities. Supervisory duties will be required when additional labor is used to complete services. Work duties will be a combination of in-field services, in-office customer support, in-person customer support and training, service center repair, and refurbishment activities. The schedule will be set by the supervisor and will include both the planned schedule and ad hoc activities. Work will primarily be performed at night between the hours of 8 pm and 8 am. Night, weekend & holiday work may be required.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Install and repair equipment at exterior public and private space customer locations. Inspect assembled equipment to ensure proper installation. Inspect installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and operation. Tune, clean, and troubleshoot equipment for proper operation. Assemble, align, and install equipment as necessary. Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed. Professionally and effectively interact with internal and external customers. Uses web-based software applications to access and log service details. Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs. Provide phone and web-based technical support to internal and external customers.Requirements:
Desired Skills & Experience Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate effectively in person, by email, and by phone. 3 years of experience in one or a combination of the following areas: field service, mechanics or machinery repair, customer support, and/or technical support role. A technical aptitude and ability to follow verbal and written technical instructions. Ability to accurately communicate verbal and written technical information. Eagerness to learn and understand the nuances of product design and operation Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and on multiple tasks Able to determine the tools and equipment required to perform the scope of the job. Experience with hand and power tools, including drills, drivers, and rivet drivers. Must be able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods to access installed machinery. Requires heavy lifting and maneuvering of machines using hand trucks. Requires outdoor work in most weather conditions. Proficient in MS Office and basic web applications usage. Experience with assembly and troubleshooting machinery. Experience with service/maintenance at area theme parks is a plus.Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license. Must be qualified to drive a rented vehicle. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Background Check Required Type:
