Job Description:

Traffic Sign Installation Technician This role involves traveling to various job sites to install roadway traffic signage in accordance with established safety and regulatory standards. The Traffic Sign Installation Technician is responsible for the safe transport, placement, and installation of signage to ensure proper traffic control and public safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to multiple project sites to install traffic and roadway signage Load, transport, and unload signage from the warehouse to designated locations Install signs according to project specifications, site plans, and industry standards Ensure all installations comply with applicable traffic safety regulations and guidelines Use appropriate tools and equipment to securely mount signs in various environments Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all safety procedures while working in or near traffic areas Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and site conditions

Qualifications:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Willingness to travel frequently between job sites Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices (preferred) Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Valid driver's license (if applicable) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sarasota, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
