Responsibilities Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment. Conduct carpet cleaning and repair to restore flooring to its original condition. Assist with fire restoration projects by cleaning soot, smoke damage removal, and debris cleanup. Execute mold remediation procedures safely and effectively to eliminate mold growth. Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, construction, or repair work during restoration projects. Follow established protocols for asbestos abatement and other hazardous material handling when necessary. Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress with team members and clients. Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred. Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement processes. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness in every job task. Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environmental conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to travel locally as needed. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving industry standards for restoration services.
