Assistant Field Service Technician

Pay:

20-$21/hr Job Description This position is responsible for pre-and post-field installations of school zone speed signage, equipment maintenance, and record completion throughout the Tampa, FL area. Essential Skills Proficient experience with hand tools and measuring instruments General understanding of signage and installation Ability to lift 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors. Proficiency with basic hand tools and ladders Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Must have a working vehicle to use and to comfortably fit and transfer large tools (hoes, shovels, diggers, etc.).

• Mileage will be reimbursed for use of own car.

Work Environment This position requires travel in the Tampa area. It is primarily an on-the-road position, requiring site-to-site travel. Must be able to drive own vehicle and work in varying outdoor weather conditions. The job requires moderate physical activity, including carrying and transporting loads up to 50 lbs. It involves long periods of driving throughout local and surrounding areas. Good vision with correction and the ability to differentiate colors between light signals is necessary. Must be willing to work in high voltage areas and at various heights, including on ladders. Occasional evening and weekend work is required based on job demands. Driving constitutes at least 75% of the workday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
