Copier / Printer Service Technician ClearView Business Solutions is hiring a full-time Copier / Printer Service Technician to join our service team. Our office is located in Oldsmar, FL , and this is a field service position supporting customers throughout the Tampa Bay area and surrounding markets. We are looking for a dependable, professional technician who can troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install copiers, printers, scanners, and multifunction devices. The right person for this role takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, follows through on problems, and understands that great service is what keeps customers with us long term. Position Summary The Copier / Printer Service Technician will be responsible for servicing office equipment at customer locations. This includes diagnosing equipment issues, replacing parts, performing preventative maintenance, installing equipment, resolving print and scan issues, and documenting all service activity accurately. This is not just a "clear the call" position. We are looking for someone who wants to fix the issue correctly, communicate clearly, and protect the customer relationship. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair copiers, printers, scanners, and multifunction devices. Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and equipment inspections. Install and configure new equipment at customer locations. Troubleshoot printing, scanning, drivers, basic networking, and connectivity issues. Replace parts, toners, drums, fusers, rollers, and other equipment components. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, service management, and purchasing. Document service calls, parts used, meter readings, and call notes accurately. Manage assigned parts, tools, supplies, and vehicle inventory responsibly. Identify defective, incorrect, damaged, or failed parts and supplies and ensure they are returned properly for warranty, claim, credit, or refund processing. Follow company procedures for service calls, parts usage, customer communication, and documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle. Represent ClearView professionally at every customer location. Requirements Prior experience servicing copiers, printers, or office equipment preferred. Experience with brands such as Toshiba, Xerox, Ricoh, Canon, Sharp, HP, Kyocera, Konica Minolta, Lexmark, or similar equipment is a plus. Experience repairing plotters is a plus. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Basic networking knowledge preferred, including IP addresses, print drivers, scan-to-email, and device connectivity. Ability to work independently in the field. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to document work accurately and follow company procedures. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment, parts, and supplies as needed. Must be reliable, professional, organized, and accountable.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, customer-focused, and willing to take ownership of service calls from start to finish. We want someone who does not ignore problems, does not leave loose ends, and does not simply pass issues off to someone else. You should be the type of person who cares about doing the job right, keeping the customer informed, and making sure the company gets proper credit, warranty support, or replacement when parts or supplies are defective. This is a field service position based out of our Oldsmar office. The technician will travel to customer locations throughout the Tampa Bay area and surrounding markets.
