Job Description
We are seeking a Low Voltage Technician with hands-on experience installing access control systems from start to finish. This role is access-control-focused and includes complete system builds, such as conduit installation, wiring, device installation, and system commissioning.
Technical ResponsibilitiesPerform access control and low-voltage installations from scratchInstall conduit (EMT, PVC) and pull and terminate low-voltage wiringMount and wire maglocks, electric strikes, card readers, door contacts, REX/PTE devices, access control panels, and power suppliesInstall and support CCTV, automated gate operators, phone, and network systemsTerminate and test CAT5/6, fiber, coax, and network cablingProgram, test, and commission access control systemsTroubleshoot system, wiring, and device issuesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentationPreferred experience includes:
Working with access control platforms such as Brivo, Avigilon, DoorKing, LiftMaster, or similar systems,Experience supporting commercial or multi-site environments, and CCTV installation experience; however, CCTV training is available for the right candidate.
Employment RequirementsPossession of a valid drivers license and a satisfactory motor vehicle recordAbility and willingness to complete a background checkAbility to comply with company policies, including a drug-free and tobacco-free workplace policyMonday through Friday schedule, 3545 hours per weekRequires driving to and from the office daily, while driving company van to sitesCTS follows these core values, which guide how we perform our work on job sites and how we show up for our customers.
