Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire (C2H) Required Qualifications Previous experience in water mitigation, restoration, construction, remediation, cleaning services, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of restoration equipment, drying systems, moisture meters, and cleaning machinery. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction-related equipment. Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established restoration procedures. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Preferred Qualifications IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) are a plus. Experience with water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration projects. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and restoration industry best practices. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Mitigation Technician to join a growing restoration team. This role is responsible for responding to water, fire, and property damage incidents, performing mitigation services, operating restoration equipment, and assisting with recovery efforts to restore residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in restoration, construction, cleaning, or a related field and be comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities Assess water-damaged properties and determine appropriate mitigation and restoration procedures. Perform water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, and moisture monitoring using specialized restoration equipment. Conduct mold remediation, carpet cleaning, debris removal, and general cleaning activities. Assist with fire and smoke damage restoration projects as needed. Operate hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment safely and efficiently. Set up and monitor drying equipment to ensure effective restoration results. Remove and dispose of damaged or contaminated materials in accordance with industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, equipment usage, and site conditions. Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe throughout the restoration process. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and customers to support successful project completion. Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices at all times. Participate in emergency response services and be available for after-hours assignments when required.

Up to $18.00 per hour
