For over 80 years, Martin Bros. has been proud to be the family-owned foodservice and supply solution for restaurants, healthcare facilities, schools and convenience stores throughout the upper Midwest. And we continue to grow! The Territorial Service Supervisor is responsible to provide repair services to equipment at the customer location, maintain parts and equipment inventory and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for customers. This position also acts as front-line manager/leader for the Field Service Techs within a designated territory.
Expectations:
Daily decision making/Problem solving- thinking on the job: Supervising techs/working with customers Good communication with techs in the field Training/testing techs for knowledge and proficiency Competency using Oracle Field Service to manage routes and work orders Reviews performed in a timely manner Proper use and operation of company equipment and property: Servicing equipment that has been assigned to you Assist techs when needed Review timecards and continually adjust routes to minimize overtime Responsible for van being clean and organized Conduct all work in a safe manner: 100% safety record in both working and driving coachable with corrective action if needed Communicate all safety concerns to Service Manager Maintain positive working relations with co-workers and customers: Legendary customer service, courteous, and professional - proper uniform Respectful during all interactions, part of the solution Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Job Duties:
Monitor accounts in the territory to ensure Martin Bros. chemical and beverage products are used according to company policies and procedures. Responsible for executing all established protocols for record keeping and documentation of all activities associated with the performance of these duties. Responsible for proper care and treatment of all company property (tools, vehicles, equipment) according to company guidelines and procedures. Responsible for keeping service vehicle maintained, organized, and stocked with enough repair parts and tools. Assist with installs within territory. Competency in Oracle Fusion and Field Service for looking up customers, assets, submitting service requests, and creating work orders. Maintain service techs in designated territory (train, monitor, assist, complete yearly performance reviews) Respond to weekend service calls as necessary Maintain possession of cell phone during work hours and weekend calls Travel is required, up to eight overnights per month Continually monitor Oracle Field Service through weekdays. Review routes for following days. Respond to all service calls daily using the following basis: phone call or physical presence.
Job Qualifications:
Good driving record (must be insurable at regular rates) Customer service oriented Ability to work independently and prioritize events Logical, mechanically inclined thinking Problem solving ability (must be able to think of alternative solutions) Willing to work with the public Ability to do plumbing (soldering, pipe fitting, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems Ability to lift 100 pounds Physically capable of getting in and out of service van Read and interpret electrical blueprints Experience managing people Successfully pass all pre-employment screenings upon job offer.
