Cleaning & Restoration Technician (General Labor) Job Summary Cleaning Connection is seeking a dependable and hardworking Cleaning & Restoration Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of cleaning, restoration, and maintenance services in commercial, residential, and construction environments.

Primary responsibilities include:

Construction cleaning Carpet and floor care Strip and wax floor services Water and fire damage restoration Janitorial support Emergency flood restoration services 24/7 This is a cross-functional role that supports multiple departments and requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Previous experience is preferred but not required — we provide training. Responsibilities Cleaning & Construction Services Perform post-construction cleaning, debris removal, dusting, detailing, and surface preparation Clean and sanitize restrooms, fixtures, common areas, and workspaces Vacuum, mop, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces Perform detailed cleaning of walls, vents, windows, ceilings, and high/low areas Remove paint, dust, and construction residue from surfaces Carpet, Floor & Restoration Services Clean carpets, upholstery, floors, and other surfaces using commercial equipment Perform floor care services including stripping, waxing, buffing, and floor restoration Assist with water, fire, and smoke damage restoration services Extract water, remove moisture, and restore affected areas Set up and monitor drying equipment such as fans and dehumidifiers Apply cleaning agents, disinfectants, deodorizers, and protectants Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Equipment & Driving Duties Safely drive company vans/trucks to job sites Load, transport, and unload equipment and supplies Maintain tools and equipment in clean and working condition Perform basic maintenance on assigned equipment Emergency & Team Support Respond to emergency water restoration calls when needed Assist with janitorial and residential cleaning services as required Help cover staffing shortages and urgent client needs Adapt to different job sites and work environments Qualifications Previous cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, or restoration experience preferred but not required Valid Driver's License required Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional on-call or emergency response Ability to learn and operate cleaning and restoration equipment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching Ability to work in residential, commercial, and construction environments Ability to climb ladders and perform high/low cleaning tasks Comfortable performing physically demanding work .

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour
