About the Role As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert, ensuring the operational integrity of complex medical systems within clinical environments. You will leverage your mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting expertise to drive equipment uptime, directly impacting the quality of patient care and facility efficiency. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on a diverse range of medical hardware and integrated systems. Manage your daily service territory autonomously, prioritizing urgent client requests and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. Collaborate with internal engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex technical challenges and maintain rigorous regulatory compliance documentation. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear technical guidance, repair options, and identifying opportunities to enhance service value. Utilize advanced mobile technology platforms to track service history, manage parts inventory, and ensure accurate reporting of all field activities. Support regional service initiatives by adapting to fluctuating demand and providing technical assistance across various healthcare facilities. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years in a technical or mechanical capacity. Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical systems, or complex equipment repair. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet stringent vendor credentialing requirements. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional, client-facing environment. Basic computer literacy, including experience with mobile applications, email, and data entry systems. Preferred Skills Associate degree or specialized technical certifications in mechanical, electrical, or related fields. Prior experience in industries such as aviation, automotive, HVAC, or industrial maintenance. Military technical training or experience with complex electromechanical systems. Proven ability to manage time effectively in a remote, self-directed work environment.
