Essential Criterias & Benefits Permanent full-time position in Wisconsin and surrounding areas 100% on the road Monday to Friday schedule, flexible hours Excellent annual base salary Commissions based on performance (2.5% on sales & service) 401k (3% matched by Vetamac) Health, dental and vision insurance Paid time off Must provide reliable transportation to drive to client appointments within Iowa and surrounding states. We reimburse mileage at a rate of $0.60 per mile. Overnight stays will be necessary, and we cover hotel accommodations along with a $60 per diem for meals during these trips. A company vehicle will be provided after the first year, based on the assessment of its necessity. Who are we? Anesthesia Service Technician at Vetamac An exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) who enjoys working on the road and has at least 3 years of relevant experience in veterinary anesthesia. In this role, you will represent Vetamac to clients in need of anesthesia support and services. You'll also have the chance to sell services and equipment while providing technical support and repairs for anesthesia machines and equipment. What to expect in this role : Provide Technical Support Offer expert technical support for anesthesia machines and related equipment to clients in the veterinary field. Perform Equipment Repairs Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain veterinary anesthesia/dental machines and equipment. Client Interaction Serve as the primary point of contact for clients needing anesthesia services and support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Equipment Installation Install and set up new anesthesia/dental machines and related equipment at veterinary clinics and practices. Training and Education Educate clients on proper use, maintenance, and safety of anesthesia equipment. Provide training on operational procedures as needed. Sell Services and Equipment Identify opportunities to sell Vetamac services, equipment, and solutions during client interactions and while performing technical work. On-the-Road Work Travel to veterinary clinics and practices to provide on-site support, repairs, and installations. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and any sales made. Ensure proper documentation for inventory and service logs. Continuous Learning Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary anesthesia technology and best practices. Ensure Compliance Follow all safety protocols, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory standards related to anesthesia equipment and services. Provide Feedback Share insights and customer feedback with the team to improve services and products. Build Relationships Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor in veterinary anesthesia solutions. What you need to succeed : 1. Required Qualifications Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT): Must be a licensed or certified veterinary technician with at least 3 years of relevant experience in veterinary anesthesia Experience in
Veterinary Anesthesia :
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with veterinary anesthesia machines and related equipment. Technical Skills in
Equipment Maintenance and Repair :
Proven experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing anesthesia machines and other veterinary equipment.
Valid Driver's License :
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel frequently to veterinary clinics and practices. Sales Experience (Preferred) : Experience in sales or the ability to confidently promote and sell services, equipment, and technical solutions is a plus.
Computer Proficiency :
Basic knowledge of computer programs and tools for documenting services, managing schedules, and handling inventory 2. Know-how In-depth understanding of veterinary anesthesia procedures, equipment, and safety protocols Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining anesthesia machines and related veterinary equipment Ability to effectively communicate with and support clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and professionalism Familiarity with veterinary products and services, with the ability to sell solutions and equipment during service calls Strong ability to diagnose and resolve issues with anesthesia equipment, providing quick and efficient solutions Expertise in installing and configuring anesthesia machines and related equipment on-site at veterinary practices. Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to veterinary anesthesia equipment. Ability to lift and carry equipment as necessary for service calls and installations 3.
