Field Services Technician II (Onsite - West Des Moines, IA) About DAS Health DAS Health is a leading provider of managed IT services, cybersecurity, and healthcare technology solutions. We partner with healthcare organizations nationwide to deliver innovative, reliable, and secure technology that improves operations and patient care. Position Overview DAS Health is seeking a Field Services Technician II to serve as a primary, onsite technical resource for one of our key clients in Des Moines, Iowa. This role will provide front-line support to end users at the client's corporate office/resource center while also supporting additional client sites across the region as needed. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys working directly with users, resolving technical issues in real time, and supporting a dynamic multi-site environment. Location & Travel Onsite daily at a client corporate office/resource center in West Des Moines, IA Travel required to additional client locations across Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota as needed Key Responsibilities Client Support & Service Delivery Serve as the primary, front-line technical support resource for onsite end users Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner Manage and resolve assigned tickets in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs) Communicate effectively with users, providing updates and setting expectations Onsite Technical Support Provide daily onsite support at the client's West Des Moines corporate office Travel to regional client sites for support, installations, and issue resolution as needed Perform site assessments, hardware installs, and environment setups Deploy and support PCs, peripherals, and networking equipment Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting Support Windows operating systems and desktop applications Support Microsoft 365 environments Troubleshoot basic to intermediate networking issues Support servers and cloud-based systems such as Azure and AWS Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to improve performance and stability Documentation & Process Adherence Maintain accurate documentation in IT Glue and ticketing systems Follow change management and documentation standards Assist with client onboarding, implementations, and technology rollouts Team Collaboration Partner with Service Desk, Field Services, and Engineering teams for issue escalation Provide support and guidance to junior technicians as needed Participate in after-hours or on-call rotation as required Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT-related field preferred) 2-4 years of experience in IT support or field services Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience supporting end users in a professional environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work onsite daily in West Des Moines, IA Ability to travel regionally across Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota Preferred CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications Experience with MSP tools and environments (RMM, ticketing systems, etc.) Experience with basic networking and infrastructure support Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) What You'll Bring A proactive, customer-first mindset Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently as a trusted onsite resource Confidence supporting users in a face-to-face environment Why DAS Health?
