Basic Duties Showcase your technical expertise by effectively troubleshooting and repairing Power Systems equipment, completing service reports, PM checklists, and timecards within department guidelines. Utilize your knowledge of SIS, ET, parts, and service manuals to efficiently handle service tasks. Take ownership of jobs, properly segment tasks, and order parts as needed for seamless project execution. Demonstrate your commitment to customer satisfaction by communicating job status effectively to clients and office personnel. Conduct complete visual inspections and testing of Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, noting deficiencies as part of preventive maintenance service. Perform thorough preventive maintenance and testing on Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability. Qualifications You should have a minimum of four years of experience in electric power generator maintenance and repair. Demonstrate your ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of efficiency and cleanliness. Good decision-making skills and the ability to follow directions are essential to excel in this role. Represent Altorfer's professional image with your effective communication skills and strong work ethic. Show your organizational prowess by writing technical reports and using resources for information when needed. Basic knowledge of Office software, preferably MS Word, Excel, and email, is expected. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to be considered for this position.
