Field Service Technician Crudele Equipment Services Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Duties Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on forklifts and material handling equipment Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, brake repairs, and battery maintenance Repair and replace engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and hydraulic components Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets OSHA standards Maintain accurate service records and work orders Respond promptly to breakdowns and service calls Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a forklift mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or similar role Preferred Qualifications Certification in forklift repair or diesel mechanics Experience with major forklift brands such as Toyota, Crown, Hyster, Yale, or Raymond OSHA safety training Skills & Competencies Strong problem-solving skills Attention to detail Time management and ability to work independently Commitment to workplace safety Strong knowledge of propane, diesel, and electric forklifts Experience with hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, if applicable) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions Must provide own tools to complete work required

$22.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
