Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Fire and Water Restoration Technician, where your skills will be vital in restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages. You will be on the front lines of cleanup and restoration, utilizing your expertise to bring damaged spaces back to life efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and debris removal following fire or water damage incidents to prepare sites for restoration. Execute fire restoration processes, including soot and smoke odor removal, structural cleaning, and content cleaning. Conduct water damage restoration tasks such as water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation to prevent further damage. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to dismantle damaged structures and prepare surfaces for repairs. Assist with mold remediation efforts by identifying mold growth, setting up containment areas, and applying appropriate treatments. Support asbestos abatement procedures when necessary, following strict safety protocols to ensure environmental safety. Aid in construction-related tasks like minor repairs, drywall installation, flooring replacement, and carpet cleaning to restore properties to their original condition. Skills Proven experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to fire, water, mold, and asbestos-related damages. Skilled in operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment used in restoration projects. Ability to identify hazards such as mold or asbestos and follow proper safety procedures for abatement. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to restoring damaged environments. Effective communication skills for working with team members and clients during stressful situations. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
