Service Technician Industrial Equipment (Shop & Field)

We are seeking a Service Technician to support the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. This role is primarily shop-based with occasional field service work at customer locations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and wants to grow their skills working on specialized industrial systems. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment Disassemble, clean, repair, and rebuild equipment to manufacturer specifications Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, inspections, and system upkeep Maintain accurate service documentation including repair logs and reports Assist with field service work including installation, startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed Provide basic customer support and training on equipment operation Work closely with internal teams to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications Experience in industrial maintenance, field service, or equipment repair Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus Experience working with equipment such as blowers, compressors, pumps, or similar systems is highly preferred Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, or drawings Comfortable working in both a shop environment and at customer sites when needed Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work Preferred Experience Background in blower, compressor, HVAC (commercial/industrial), or rotating equipment repair Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment rebuilds Manufacturer certifications or willingness to complete training programs Additional Information Mix of shop and field-based work Opportunity for pay increases based on certifications and training Exposure to a variety of industrial equipment and systems This role is focused on industrial equipment — not residential or apartment maintenance

Pay:

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
