Technicians work on residential and commercial job sites, assisting with extraction, drying, demolition, and cleaning. This role requires adaptability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-demand environments.
Schedule & On-Call Requirements Full-time:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Participation in an 8-week on-call rotation (7 total on-call days per cycle) Friday-Sunday is the only consecutive on-call period Extended shifts (12-14 hours) during storm events or high demand Must be available and responsive during on-call periods Occasional travel to other company locations (typically voluntary) Core Responsibilities Perform water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification Set up and monitor drying equipment and job site conditions Complete detailed job documentation and reporting Remove damaged materials including drywall, flooring, and carpet Conduct demolition and site preparation Assist in fire restoration including pack-outs and structure cleaning Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Maintain clean and organized job sites Support and coordinate with team members and supervisors Assist with managing temporary labor crews when needed Follow all safety standards and company procedures Driving & Equipment Requirements Ride along in company vehicles for job site work Valid driver's license required for long-term placement May be required to operate DOT-regulated vehicles (box trucks, trailers) when qualified DOT Medical Card required for certain driving responsibilities Qualifications Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required) Must pass a drug screen and background check Experience in restoration, construction, or general labor preferred but not required Experience using hand and power tools Basic mechanical aptitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and follow direction Reliable with consistent attendance and strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy materials regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity) Comfort working in noisy, dusty, or active job site environments Benefits (Upon Permanent Hire) 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Life insurance and disability coverage Training, certifications, and advancement opportunities Performance-based bonuses and premium pay during high-volume periods Company-provided uniforms and equipment
