Restoration Field Technician Accelera - 3.5 Olathe, KS Job Details Full-time $18.52 - $23.65 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Driver's License Power tools Materials handling Hand tools Technical Proficiency Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description About the Role As a Restoration Field Technician, you will play a vital role in helping residential and commercial clients recover from property damage by performing essential mitigation and structural drying services. You will utilize your technical skills to restore environments, manage specialized drying equipment, and ensure properties are returned to a safe, pre-loss condition. Responsibilities Execute water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification processes to prevent further property damage. Deploy and monitor industrial-grade drying equipment to ensure optimal site conditions. Perform controlled demolition, including the removal of compromised drywall, flooring, and carpeting. Document site conditions and project progress to provide accurate reporting for stakeholders. Support fire restoration efforts, including site cleaning and the careful handling of contents. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site while operating various hand and power tools. Coordinate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Required Skills Valid driver's license and a strong commitment to reliable attendance. Proven ability to operate hand and power tools with a focus on safety. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow technical instructions precisely. Physical capability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Preferred Skills Previous experience in restoration, construction, or general labor environments. Familiarity with DOT-regulated vehicle operation or possession of a DOT Medical Card. Experience managing temporary labor crews or coordinating site logistics. Demonstrated ability to remain productive and adaptable in high-demand, fast-paced environments.
