In this role, you will be responsible for restoring properties affected by water damage, mold, and other environmental hazards. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in helping clients recover from disasters while ensuring their safety and satisfaction. Duties Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction and drying of affected areas. Conduct mold remediation to ensure safe and healthy environments for clients. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out restoration tasks. Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process. Follow safety protocols during asbestos abatement procedures when necessary. Build and restore damaged structures to meet industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the restoration process. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on the restoration progress. Skills Experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and best practices. Familiarity with mold remediation processes and safety measures. Ability to clean carpets thoroughly using appropriate methods and equipment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
