USA Billerica, MA Job Details $27.00 - $27.85 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Equipment malfunction troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Driver's License Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description About the Role Join Farmer Brothers on our Revive™ Service & Restoration team, where we install, maintain, and restore commercial tea and coffee brewing systems. As a Beverage Equipment Field Service Specialist, you'll own the customer experience for a defined territory—keeping brewers pouring, documenting every service with precision, and managing the parts that keep our customers up and running. A Day in the Life Start your morning at 7:30 am, review your route, and head out within a 100-mile radius to scheduled jobs—anything from a new brewer install to preventative maintenance. When an urgent call comes in, you pivot, diagnose, and resolve. You'll close each call with complete documentation, capture signatures, communicate results, and update your parts inventory before wrapping up around 4:30 pm. You'll rotate on an after-hours/weekend on-call schedule to support emergency needs. Schedule & Travel Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm On-call required, including weekends (rotation) Driving within a 100-mile radius in most markets; occasional regional travel as needed What You'll Do Install, repair, remove, and commission coffee and other beverage dispensing equipment across a designated territory.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled work:
emergency responses, preventative maintenance, site surveys, and new system installations. Participate in an after-hours/weekend on-call rotation. Track and replenish spare parts in line with company guidelines. Complete all service documentation accurately, including call closures, detailed work notes, invoicing details, and required customer signatures. Plan, schedule, and execute installation projects in collaboration with the team. Communicate clearly and promptly with customers and internal partners; share customer requests and feedback with management. Meet service level agreements for customer programs while prioritizing tasks to hit expectations and timelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of mechanical and technical experience. Foodservice background preferred. Preferred hands-on exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and use of test meters. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Willing and able to travel within a 100+ mile radius of the branch. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs frequently. Proven ability to balance scheduled and unscheduled work, including emergencies, PMs, surveys, and installs.
