This role is primarily field-based, supporting customers across New England and surrounding states , while also leading installation projects across North America . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical/controls and refrigeration expertise who enjoys travel, autonomy, and working directly with customers on complex equipment. About the Role In this position, you will take the lead on installation, startup, and commissioning of advanced systems. You will play a critical role by working closely with the factory team during the testing phase, then carrying that knowledge into the field to ensure smooth and successful system startups. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will serve as the lead technical expert onsite during installations. Key Responsibilities Lead installation, startup, and commissioning projects across North America Act as the primary technical lead onsite during system startups Partner with internal test teams during pre-shipment phases to ensure smooth field transitions Work on the production floor during system testing prior to shipment Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems at customer sites Perform installation, maintenance, repair, calibration, and certification of equipment Execute service calls to diagnose and resolve equipment issues Provide technical support to customers and internal service teams Assist with development or modification of machine control software Read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel diagrams Perform mechanical work including assembly, disassembly, leveling, and repair Diagnose and repair electrical control systems Understand controller logic to run and troubleshoot machine profiles Support new product development with testing and inspection processes Execute warranty-related troubleshooting and repairs as needed Qualifications 5+ years of field service experience (industrial equipment preferred) Strong electrical/controls experience (required) Refrigeration experience (required) Refrigeration License (any state preferred) Cascade refrigeration experience preferred Brazing Experience with diagnostic tools (multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers) Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and software systems Ability to read and interpret industrial control schematics Must pass background check
Role Structure & Expectations Technical Leadership:
This role does not have direct people management but will lead installations and serve as the primary technical expert onsite
Customer Interaction:
Primarily technical-facing , working directly with customer teams during system startup and troubleshooting
Travel:
