Job Description
SERVPRO Team Skov is expanding into Baltimore and hiring foundational team members. Paid IICRC certification training, structured nine-tier career progression, and first-year total compensation typically reaching $52,000 or more. Military and veteran candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
About This Role:
SERVPRO Team Skov is a locally owned franchise operating six offices across New York, Connecticut, and Maryland. We are establishing our Baltimore North office and building our local team. Our crews respond to property damage emergencies across the Baltimore metro area, from Towson to Federal Hill and beyond. As a Restoration Technician, you will work on water extraction, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and post-loss restoration. Joining the team early in our Baltimore expansion provides strong opportunities for advancement as the office develops.Your Career Path:
Our career path is structured, transparent, and tied to certifications and demonstrated performance. Each promotion is earned, and pay increases are tied to specific milestones. Worker tier (first 6 months):Restoration Tech I:
$20.00/hr (entry, SERVPRO U 100 and 200)Restoration Tech II:
$20.50/hr at Month 3 (with WRT certification)Restoration Tech III:
$21.50/hr at Month 6 (with WRT, Mold, OSHA 10) Supervisor tier (Months 9 to 15):Restoration Supervisor I:
$22.50/hr at Month 9Restoration Supervisor II:
$23.50/hr at Month 12 (adds ASD)Restoration Supervisor III:
$24.50/hr at Month 15 (adds TCST) Project Manager tier (Year 2 to 4):Project Manager I:
$30.50/hr (multi-crew oversight)Project Manager II:
$80,000 salaried (location-level responsibility)
Project Manager III:
$90,000 to $125,000 salaried (commercial losses to $500K+) All required certifications are company-paid. Many of our current Project Managers began as entry-level technicians.Who We Are Looking For:
Baltimore has a strong skilled trades culture, and many of our most successful technicians come from port operations, construction, warehousing, and manufacturing. Veterans transitioning out of service at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Fort Meade, the Naval Academy, and the Coast Guard Yard are particularly well-suited to this work, given the structured advancement path, paid certifications, and clear performance milestones. Prior restoration experience is not required.Required qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Comfort with physical, hands-on work throughout the day
- Availability for the shared on-call rotation (compensated at $25 per dispatched job)
- Dependability and consistent attendance
- Team-oriented work style
What You Will Earn:
- Base pay starting at $20.00/hr, with raises tied to company-paid certifications
- Overtime available regularly (approximately 4-10 hours per week on average)
- On-call compensation: $25 per dispatched job, with a $50 minimum per shift
- Google Review bonus: $35 per review, $45 with photos
- Commercial Travel bonus: $5 to $12 per hour worked, paid at project completion for out of town commercial large loss claims

- Employee referral bonus: $300 per successful hire, paid at six-month tenure

Total Compensation Reference:
At our typical workload, a Restoration Tech III reaches approximately $52,000 in annualized total compensation by Month 6 (base pay, overtime, on-call, and review bonuses combined). A Restoration Supervisor III at Month 15 reaches approximately $60,000. Project Manager III roles begin at $90,000 or more in salary. What toExpect:
- Hands-on work in residential and commercial properties: basements, attics, mechanical rooms, and a range of restoration environments. Full PPE, training, and equipment are provided.
- Participation in our shared on-call rotation. The rotation is distributed across the team and compensated per dispatched job.
- Variable working conditions depending on the loss type and severity. Crew support and proper equipment are provided on every assignment.
- Direct involvement in helping customers recover from property damage emergencies, work that has a tangible impact on the people we serve.
