Field Service Technician

Job Title:

Field Service Technician SUMMARY:

This position provides direct technical service and sales support of all Montalvo products to customers and potentially new customers. The individual in this position will be able to direct and coordinate application development, sales support, installation, and service needs for each customer they work with. Key areas of responsibility

• Montalvo's face to customers & potential customers via site visits, virtual meetings, phone calls & emails.
• Installing, Repairing and Training customers to fully utilize Montalvo's web tension control products
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers - Operations, Maintenance, and Purchasing
• Drives customer retention and builds win/win relationships, continually seeking to understand customer objectives and how Montalvo products & services address their needs.
• Quoting - prices, delivery, and preparation of sales contracts.
• Provides sales and technical support assistance to non-technical sales representatives.
• Provides on-site technical service and sales calls - must be willing to travel
• Maintains up to date and regular sales and service records.
• Starting Compensation Range based upon experience: $45K - $60K DOE
• Safety oriented in an industrial environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and

EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge and experience with hand tools, machinery, mechanical and electrical technology
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PDF Editors and general computer programs
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Strong time and project management skills
• Sales and marketing skills
• Excellent people skills & ability to deal with customers in various situations.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
