This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading field technicians, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving profitability, and supporting the expansion of our mobile service division. Candidates must possess the skills needed to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of medium/heavy duty vehicles and equipment while focusing on safety and efficiency. Hourly Rate $45 to $50/hour depending on experience Benefits Team Members and their families are a top priority. That's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical Insurance - 3 options to choose from including an HSA Dental Insurance - Premium paid by Company Vision Insurance Paid holidays Simple IRA with 3% company match after 1 year Reimbursement for obtaining relevant certifications Training & Development opportunities Employee Referral Program Annual boot allowance Uniforms provided What You'll Do 80% Technical & Customer-Facing Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance in the field Support technicians with advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance Respond to critical customer needs and breakdowns Conduct ride-alongs and field visits with technicians Build and maintain relationships with fleet customers Serve as a technical resource for the field service team 20% Leadership & Operations Lead, coach, and develop mobile service technicians Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and field operations Monitor productivity, efficiency, and profitability Review work orders and estimates for quality and accuracy Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new technicians Support department growth, process improvement, and operational initiatives Growth & Expansion Responsibilities Identify staffing needs before capacity constraints impact customers Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing additional field service technicians Work with leadership to expand field service coverage throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and surrounding markets Help build a scalable mobile service operation while maintaining quality, safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction Promote Technical Truck & Trailer's mobile service capabilities and identify opportunities for growth within existing and new customer accounts Qualifications Strong diesel, truck, and trailer repair experience Valid CLD-A or ability to obtain Must be State of Michigan Master Certified Medium/Heavy Duty Mechanic Must possess a Section 609 EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Commitment to safety, accountability, and teamwork Uphold company's purpose and core values Cummins, Autocar, and Allison certifications including an Autocar EV certification Clean driving record (less than 3 moving violations in previous 3 years) Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp tools, lift/carry 50lbs Ability to work in outdoor and noisy environments Provide your own tools Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp tools, lift/carry 50lbs Ability to work in outdoor and noisy environments Why Join Technical Truck & Trailer? Location:
