This role is responsible for receiving and completing work orders electronically, navigating to assigned service locations, and performing water service-related tasks such as cleaning stopboxes and operating curb stop valves to turn water service on or off. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in outdoor environments and extreme weather conditions, has strong communication skills, and is proficient using mobile tablets and Excel spreadsheets to document completed work. Previous water utility or field service experience is preferred but not required. This position requires manual labor, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition.

Job Description:

Receive work orders via electronic tablet Navigate and drive to assigned locations Locate water stopbox and curb stop valve Complete task as assigned: Clean out stopbox Operate curb stop valve to turn water service on or off Complete work order and excel sheet in tablet Previous water utility field experience preferred Job Requirements Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record Must have good communication skills Must have working knowledge of Email and Excel Spreadsheets Must keep vehicle, equipment and tools clean and maintained Must have the ability to: Learn, understand and comply with company's safety policies Perform manual labor Complete assigned tasks without direct supervision Open and complete work orders on a mobile tablet Work in extreme weather, and field conditions
