Field Service Technician

Job Summary Great Lakes Scale Co. is hiring a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, calibration, and repair of industrial weighing equipment. This is a hands-on, field-based role with regional travel and strong growth potential. If you have mechanical or electrical experience and enjoy working independently, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career. What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair on scales and weighing systems Travel to customer job sites (regional travel with ~1 overnight/month) Provide professional customer service and technical support Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures Train customers on proper equipment use Complete work orders using company software Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment Work toward Handbook 44 certification (paid training provided)

What We're Looking For Required:

High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license (CDL Class A or CDL Class B Preferred) Mechanical and/or electrical experience Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Basic personal hand tools

Preferred:
