Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, honest, trustworthy, Field Service Technician to join our growing team. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing support in various operations, including mechanical tasks, construction tasks, equipment inspection and repair tasks, general manual labor tasks, in the crude oil and natural gas exploration/ production industry. Responsibilities
  • Follow all Safety policies and procedures, use of all required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Assist in the inspection, maintenance and repair of crude oil & natural gas production equipment.
  • Perform general labor duties on production sites.
  • Perform pipefitting tasks.
  • Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance tasks on, engines, pumps, generators, pneumatic systems, crude oil & natural gas production equipment, etc.
  • Operate heavy equipment.
  • Use of a computer / tablet to record job specific information, such as labor time, machinery time, job notes, parts used, work performed, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at work sites, company vehicles and support equipment.
  • Drive company vehicles to and from work sites.
  • Overnight out of town travel will be required occasionally.
  • On Call nights and weekends will be required occasionally. Qualifications
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, desire to learn, honesty and integrity, be a team player.
  • Mechanical knowledge to assist in equipment setup, repair, maintenance.
  • Safe driving habits.
  • Valid Chauffeurs License with valid Medical Card.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Familiarity with operating Tractors, Mowers, Telehandlers, Personnel Lifts, etc.
  • Familiarity with truck mounted cranes for small lifting tasks.
  • Previous exposure, experience to crude oil and natural gas industry practices is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Capability to dig and perform manual labor tasks as required.
  • Capability to Bend, Kneel, Stoop, Squat, Push, Pull, Lift, repeatedly throughout the day, lifting and holding up to 70lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, hot, cold, rain, sun, snow, for the duration of the work shift.
  • Metal fabrication experience a plus but not required.
  • High School Education.
  • Trade School certificate / degree is beneficial.
