Field Service Technician - Fertilizer Equipments • 50-75% travel • Field Repairs - Direct Employment (Will Train Sharp Candidate) Do you enjoy working independently, traveling to different sites, and fixing equipment where it actually operates? If you prefer the field over a shop floor and like solving mechanical problems hands-on, this role is for you. We design and build specialized equipment for the fertilizer industry—blenders, mixers, bucket elevators, conveyors, and rotary drums. Our Field Service Technicians are the go-to experts who keep this equipment running at customer locations, primarily local cooperatives and farms. What You'll Be Doing Travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain fertilizer-handling equipment Work hands-on with drag conveyors, elevator legs, blenders, valves, and tower components Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and performance issues Perform MIG welding repairs in the field Troubleshoot and repair air and pneumatic systems Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjustments Document service work and maintain accurate service records Work independently while representing the company professionally on-site Why Field Techs Like This Role You're not stuck in one place—travel 50-75% depending on season Company vehicle provided All travel expenses are charged to company credit cards and reimbursed 100% Real equipment, real fixes, and visible results from your work Variety in locations, customers, and challenges Supportive company culture that values field technicians What We're Looking For Strong mechanical skills and hands-on repair experience MIG welding experience Willingness to travel a minimum of 60% Comfortable working at customer locations (indoors and outdoors) Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass DOT physical and drug testing Physical Requirements Lift and move up to 75 lbs regularly Stand and walk for extended periods Use hands and tools frequently Occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl Comfortable working in moderate noise environments Work Environment Field-based role using a company vehicle Moderate noise and physical activity Work performed at agricultural and industrial customer sites Apply Now!
