Electrical Technician, Field Service

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve electrical problems
• Fabricate and install electrical components as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant technical training
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including distributed control systems, logic controllers, hydraulics and VFD's.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and procedures
• Ability to detect and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
