SALARY 50k-57k Contents Supervisor The Contents Supervisor position is a career in field services in the property damage restoration industry, primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. Our team addresses the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism. Our goal is to preserve as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site. IICRC WRT, IIRC FRST
& Lead RRP Licensing Responsibilities Work safely in residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, storm, and/or mold damage Inspect and assess property damage, including structural and contents-related losses Evaluate, document, and photograph damage to all affected items throughout the project lifecycle Perform demolition of damaged structures using hand and power tools in accordance with safety guidelines Conduct initial site visits and moisture inspections to determine scope of work Set up and monitor restoration equipment in compliance with company and industry standards Complete assigned tasks and maintain accurate job notes in the company's primary operating system (RMS) Capture detailed job photos at the start, during progress, and upon completion of each project Participate in IICRC training and certification courses (provided by the company) Contents Team Leadership & Operations Lead, train, and supervise a team of contents technicians; schedule work and assign daily tasks Create detailed inventories and photo documentation to track customer belongings throughout the restoration process Properly pack, wrap, transport, and store contents to prevent damage; regularly handle items weighing 50+ lbs Coordinate logistics for both damaged and undamaged items, ensuring secure and organized storage Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and maintaining trust during stressful situations Maintain high quality standards for packing, handling, cleaning, and restoration services Utilize technical skills including furniture disassembly/reassembly, use of hand tools, and basic restoration techniques Competency -
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad, computer) Customer Service Skills Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, TSheets, Moisture Mapper, and additional systems as requested Ability to create documents Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face Ability to work independently and / or with a team Ability to participate in an on-call schedule Ability to work within hazardous environments safely Ability to operate a company vehicle safely Maintain a level of confidentiality
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Customer Service experience 3 plus year experience in a craft, trade, or manual labor position or equivalent schooling
Requirement:
