  • Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment\n \n\n
  • Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams\n \n\n
  • Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets\n \n\n
  • Working with your Manager and\/or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues\n \n\n
  • Continuous learning and training on various products both in the field and in the classroom\n\nOn some days, you may even:\n \n\n
  • Travel throughout the region for local customer support or even countrywide travel.\n\nThis includes overnight travel by vehicle\/air.\n \n\n
  • Assist senior technicians and support Project Management on larger system start-ups\n \n\n
  • Work alongside larger teams of FSRs and collaborate with Project Managers on higher complexity projects\n \n\n
  • Act on behalf of the District Service Manager to resolve operational issues as required\n\nThis may be the next step in your career journey if you have:\n \n\n
  • An Associate's degree, trade\/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.\n \n\n
  • The ability to read blueprints\/schematics\n \n\n
  • Thorough understanding of principles of AC and DC power, various AC and DC supply circuit components\n \n\n
  • 2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS (Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, power distribution and switchgear, seamless automatic transfer switches (ATS), power distribution units, electrical, electro-mechanical or electronics related equipment\n \n\n
  • 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.\n \n\n
