This energetic position involves performing cleaning, restoration, and remediation services with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will be on the front lines of restoring homes and businesses to their pre-loss condition, providing hope and relief to those in need. Your hands-on expertise in using various tools and techniques will make a tangible difference every day. Duties Perform fire restoration tasks including debris removal, soot cleanup, and odor control to restore affected areas efficiently. Conduct water damage restoration by extracting water, drying structures, and preventing mold growth through proper dehumidification. Utilize hand tools and power tools to dismantle damaged materials and prepare sites for reconstruction or further remediation. Execute mold remediation procedures following industry standards to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues. Assist with asbestos abatement projects ensuring safe removal and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations. Clean and sanitize affected areas using specialized cleaning techniques for carpets, surfaces, and contents to restore cleanliness. Support construction activities related to restoration projects, including minor repairs and installation work as needed. Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred. Knowledge of fire restoration processes, water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a strong plus. Familiarity with using hand tools such as scrapers, wrenches, drills, and saws; experience with power tools is advantageous. Experience with cleaning methods specific to carpet cleaning and surface sanitation enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive restoration services. Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols while handling hazardous materials or working in potentially unsafe environments.
