Charlotte, NC Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off On-the-job training Life insurance Retirement plan Tools provided Qualifications Soldering Driver's License Non-CDL Class C Refrigeration Construction Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Job Overview A skilled position responsible for complete installations of walk-in coolers, walk in freezers, ice machines, water fountains. installation of convenience store sales counters, beverage counters, convenience store gondola shelving, installation of walk in cooler and freezer glass display doors. Possess plumbing skills, pipe fit refrigeration tubing lines, pressure test line sets, soldering skills a plus, good driving record travel throughout primarily NC and SC. Collect accurate and complete equipment and customer information via proper customer service relations. Ability to operate light industrial machinery, including forklifts, scissor lifts, tools and materials used on installation projects. Establish positive relationship with contacts at job site. After each job, complete proper paperwork before leaving location. Transport miscellaneous items (e.g., compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycle, etc.). Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. Duties Install equipment ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to design and implement effective installation strategies. Troubleshoot issues in the field, providing timely solutions to customers. Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites, ensuring safe driving practices. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and service delivery. Follow all company policies regarding safety, quality control, and customer service. Experience Strong Problem-solving abilities Previous experience as a Service Technician or Installer in related fields is preferred. Experience driving vans or larger vehicles for field service operations is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical diagrams and designs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
