As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational integrity of critical medical systems by performing expert diagnostics, repairs, and installations within healthcare facilities. This position offers the autonomy to manage your own service territory while providing essential technical support that directly impacts patient care outcomes. Responsibilities Execute complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime. Manage daily service schedules autonomously, prioritizing urgent customer needs and preventative maintenance tasks. Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure regulatory compliance. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technology platforms to document repairs and maintain accurate service records. Provide professional consultation to customers regarding equipment performance, repair options, and potential system upgrades. Support business growth by identifying sales opportunities and building strong relationships within your assigned territory. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant technical or mechanical experience. Proven ability to perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet credentialing requirements. Proficiency with basic computer systems, mobile applications, and digital data entry. Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Preferred Skills Associate degree or specialized certifications in a technical or mechanical field. Previous experience in HVAC, industrial maintenance, or complex electro-mechanical systems. Military technical training or experience with competitive equipment maintenance. Demonstrated success in managing field-based service operations.
