This will be a home-based position on the East Coast with travel to customer sites. When not on the road, this new hire will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and Field Service Technicians with a focus on electromechanical and hydraulic surgical tables. This will be a customer-facing role, requiring strong interpersonal skills coupled with technical problem resolution capabilities. The role will report into the Stille Director of Operations.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Ability to utilize proven troubleshooting processes to diagnose and resolve technical issues on a variety of electromechanical and hydraulic surgical tables Ability to field phone calls, manage service call scheduling, and perform other administrative responsibilities with minimal supervision The position will require regular customer relationship management and interaction with both end users of our products and our field-based service partners Creation of written documentation logs of all telephone interactions Strong representation of the company in a positive and professional manner Utilize various computer programs including but not limited to the Microsoft Office Suite of products Basic qualifications / education: Minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent in electromechanical engineering or biomedical equipment; significant experience in role will be considered in lieu of education requirement Minimum 1-year experience as a Field Service Technician with previous experience servicing surgical tables and/or medical equipment a plus Required skills and competencies: Effective communication skills and the ability to establish good customer relationships is essential Must have the ability to work independently and possess good organizational, communication and time management skills The ability to be hands-on and work on the repair and upkeep of the certain surgical tables Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot surgical tables is required. Ability to follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and standard operating procedures A team player and self-starter - someone willing to be a critical part of the Stille team
