Field Assistant (Entry-Level) Owens Chimney Systems Full-Time | $20-$24 per Hour About Us Owens Chimney Systems is a growing chimney service and repair company dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, quality craftsmanship, and professional solutions for homeowners. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career with our team. Position Overview The Field Assistant is an entry-level position designed for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and working as part of a team. This role offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of the chimney service and repair industry while assisting experienced technicians in the field. As a Field Assistant, you may work alongside a Lead Repair Technician on chimney restoration and repair projects or accompany a Lead Service Technician to gain valuable knowledge of inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service. What You'll Do Assist technicians with chimney repair, restoration, and service projects Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures Help prepare job sites and maintain a clean, organized work environment Transport materials and equipment as needed Support technicians in diagnosing and solving customer issues Work safely on ladders, roofs, and elevated work areas Provide excellent customer service when interacting with homeowners Participate in ongoing training and skill development What We're Looking For Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong work ethic and dependability Ability to work well as part of a team Enjoys hands-on work and solving problems Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Not afraid of heights and able to work on roofs and ladders Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment Valid driver's license preferred Construction, roofing, chimney, or trade experience is a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $20-$24 per hour , based on experience and qualifications Full-time, year-round employment Benefits available after 90 days (PTO, Holiday Pay, Health Benefits.. etc) On-the-job training and career growth opportunities Opportunity to learn a skilled trade and advance within the company Why Join Owens Chimney Systems?
