Fitness Machine Technicians is growing, and we're looking for a mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to support residential and commercial customers throughout the Raleigh market. This is not a job where you'll spend your day in a warehouse or standing at the same workbench. You'll travel throughout your territory, diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs and preventative maintenance, and build relationships with customers who rely on you to keep their equipment running safely and efficiently. We hire for attitude, professionalism, and mechanical aptitude. Experience repairing fitness equipment is helpful, but not required. If you enjoy working with your hands, figuring things out, and taking ownership of your work, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on fitness equipment Perform preventative maintenance services Assemble and test equipment to ensure proper operation Manage your daily schedule and prepare for appointments Complete service documentation using company systems Communicate professionally with residential and commercial customers Represent the company with professionalism and reliability What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 21 years old Experience That Transfers Well Appliance repair Automotive repair HVAC service Equipment maintenance Industrial maintenance Military mechanical experience Trade school graduates Compensation $24-$32/hour depending on experience, plus performance opportunities Why Join Fitness Machine Technicians?
