Job Description
Position responsibilities and requirements: Included but are not limited to: ◦ Promptly and professionally respond to service calls, ◦ Provide service support as needed in other areas, Troubleshoot equipment utilizing appropriate documents and skilled knowledge obtained through factory training to determine cause of malfunctions in test equipment, ◦Troubleshoot and repair equipment as required to ensure contractual compliance, response time and equipment downtime requirements. ◦ Accurately and professionally respond to questions from customers regarding test equipment operation. ◦ Safely and accurately maintain supply of equipment spares and consumables. ◦ Complete all required service call documentation. ◦ Accurately and promptly report all maintenance activity, spare usage and consumables usage, Other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation as directed by the National Service Director of operations and/or National Service Manager, ◦ Occasional Travel. ◦ Valid driver's license and good driving record required. ◦ Clean background check (paid by company) Minimum knowledge and skills required: ◦ Basic electrical/electronic, must know how to properly use volt/ohm/Amp meter, Advanced PC operation hardware, BIOS and understanding of Microsoft Windows software, drivers, and utilities, ◦ Mechanical aptitude/knowledge, ◦ Manual dexterity to perform tasks with small hand tools, ◦ Good written, verbal and customer service communication skills, ◦ Occasionally able to lift up to 80lbs.
Education and work experience:
Associate's degree or certificate in Electronics, vocational/technical training or equivalent work experience (optional). Minimum Three years' experience or training in electronic, mechanical or automotive field Must be familiar with a variety of test equipment including digital voltmeters, power tools, etc. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Job Type:
