Our company is made up of a brilliant sales team, an advanced infrastructure team, skilled installers, highly-qualified technicians, and a supportive admin staff, all led by our amazing General Manager, who is on his 41st year with Sierra Electronics. We also have an office in Elko. We provide communications solutions to public safety agencies, mines, casinos, warehouses, plus a large spectrum of commercial and private businesses. The right candidate will be mechanically inclined, and will install a variety of equipment including public safety lights, sirens, computer consoles, antennas, and two-way radio systems. Experience in stereo installations, vehicle wiring, or automobile up-fitting is helpful but not required. We prefer you have your own tools. You'll work Monday-Friday, 8-5pm with occasional opportunities for optional overtime. Excellent attendance is essential, as we owe much of our success to reliability. You must have a professional demeanor at all times out of respect for our customers and our coworkers. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, and some positions may require a background check. There is a 90-day probationary period, and after 60 days you are eligible for health insurance, and we pay your premiums . Dependent coverage is paid by the employee through payroll deduction, as well as optional dental, vision, and supplemental insurance. After 90 days we offer paid holidays, and after one year of employment we offer annual paid vacation, and a matching retirement plan.
