Job Description

About Us:
Romanoff International Supply Corp was founded in 1949. We are a premier provider of exclusive high-tech induction melting machinery imported directly from Germany and Japan and Industrial 3D Printers. We supply top-tier manufacturing industries and are dedicated to providing our clients with premium service—from pre-shipment testing to on-site installation, operator training, and ongoing warranty support.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Field Service Engineer to oversee the lifecycle of our machinery at client sites. You will act as the technical bridge between our suppliers and our long-term clients, ensuring equipment runs flawlessly from delivery to daily operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Shipment Testing:
Perform electrical and mechanical testing of machinery prior to dispatch from our facility to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
On-Site Installation:
Manage the physical setup, calibration, and electrical integration of induction melting equipment at client facilities.
Operator Training:
Educate client staff on the safe operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of the machinery.
After-Sales Support:
Provide troubleshooting (both in-person and remotely), conduct preventative maintenance, and execute warranty repairs.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent military/trade experience). 5+ years of hands-on field service experience with medium and heavy industrial equipment. Solid understanding of high-voltage electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints. Exceptional communication and training skills with a customer-first mentality. Willingness to travel up to 50% (primarily regional with occasional overnight stays). Proficiency with schematics, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques involving low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Knowledge of resistence and induction heating, assembly of precision lost wax casting equipment, and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing electro-mechanical issues quickly and accurately. Experience with industrial electrician tasks including wiring and circuit testing. Excellent customer service skills coupled with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English. Field service experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is highly desirable; military background is a plus.
