Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Fire and Water Restoration Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other environmental damages. This energetic role involves performing hands-on restoration tasks, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to help clients recover from devastating incidents. You'll play a vital part in bringing hope and relief to homeowners and businesses by delivering high-quality restoration services efficiently and professionally. Duties Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to mitigate water damage using specialized equipment. Conduct fire damage cleanup, including debris removal, soot and smoke residue cleaning, and odor control. Execute mold remediation procedures safely and effectively to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues. Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and restoration tasks with precision. Assist in asbestos abatement and other hazardous material removal following safety protocols. Clean carpets, upholstery, and affected surfaces using industry-standard cleaning methods. Support construction-related activities such as minor repairs or rebuilds to restore property integrity. Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred. Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent cleaning skills across various surfaces and materials. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is often required; some roles may require CDL certification depending on the scope of work. Certification in restoration techniques or hazardous material handling is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
