Claims Response Apprentice

Claims Response Apprentice Perform insurance related water & mold mitigation within the greater Plainview, NY area.

Responsibilities:

Works with internal and external customers to provide an exceptional experience. Inspect homes that have been affected by water, mold, wind, or fire damage. Performs demolition, water mitigation, mold/fire remediation as instructed. Delivers reports and information within time goals and established service levels. Performs basic equipment cleaning and maintenance. Maintains a safe driving record and vehicle maintenance schedule on assigned company vehicles. Obtains feedback from customers to improve future experiences. Availability for bi-weekly on-call/after-hours shifts.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Relevant experience in restoration, constructions, customer service, or trades preferred IICRC Certifications, Adjuster License is a plus Ability to climb, kneel, and crawl required; may worked in confined spaces. Ability to lift and move items up to 30lbs alone; more with assistance from a partner Basic computer proficiency; comfortable working with internet-based tools is required Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams proficiency is a plus Xactimate experience or proficiency is a plus Results driven with strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and manages changing priorities effectively Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized Must be available on call and weekends High School Diploma or equivalent and an active Driver s License with eligible driving record are required
