$70/hour Position Overview We are seeking a Service Supervisor to lead and support a team of field and shop technicians specializing in rotating equipment, pumps, motors, and industrial mechanical systems. This position serves as both a technical resource and mentor, helping technicians troubleshoot complex equipment issues while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines field support, project coordination, technician development, customer interaction, scheduling, estimating, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of pumps, rotating equipment, industrial maintenance, and low-voltage controls, along with the ability to guide and develop a skilled service team. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate, and support a team of Service Technicians Provide technical guidance on pump systems, rotating equipment, motors, bearings, seals, controls, and troubleshooting Assist technicians with job planning, execution, and repair strategies Review inspection reports and repair recommendations Support estimating, quoting, scheduling, and project coordination activities Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards Mentor and develop technicians through training and hands-on coaching Coordinate outside vendors and specialty service providers when required Build strong customer relationships and maintain a high level of service excellence Review technician timesheets, expense reports, and administrative documentation Support continuous improvement initiatives, safety programs, and training efforts Travel to customer sites as needed throughout the region Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of experience working with rotating equipment, pumps, motors, industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or related mechanical/electrical systems Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment Understanding of bearings, shafts, seals, motors, and pump systems Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control panels Basic understanding of low-voltage controls and relay logic Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to mentor, train, and support technicians Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel Preferred Prior leadership, lead technician, foreman, or supervisory experience Experience with PLCs and industrial controls Experience in water/wastewater, HVAC, industrial manufacturing, process equipment, or rotating equipment service environments Familiarity with ADP or similar payroll systems Vibration analysis, laser alignment, startup, commissioning, or field service experience Schedule & Work Environment Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Combination of office and field responsibilities Average travel radius of approximately 1-2 hours Limited overnight travel Company vehicle, phone, laptop, and specialized tools provided Overtime opportunities available Why Consider This Opportunity?
