No one day is like the other General Description MTech is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on professional to join our team as a Municipal Equipment Demonstration & Training Specialist. This position plays an important role with our sales and service efforts by demonstrating, delivering, training, and supporting the specialized municipal vehicles and equipment we represent. The ideal candidate enjoys operating equipment, interacting with customers, traveling, and teaching others. This role is highly mobile and frequently involves working alongside our sales team to support customers throughout the sales process and beyond. If you have experience operating municipal equipment, heavy vocational trucks, environmental service vehicles, or similar specialized equipment—and enjoy learning and sharing your expertise—we would like to hear from you. The designated sales and service area for MTech are the states of Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Kentucky. Accordingly, required travel from time to time will be within this geography. The position is considered part of the Cleveland-based service team. Product demonstration needs are supplemented additionally by demo personnel based out of the company's other physical service centers in both Cincinnati, Ohio and Detroit, Michigan. Experience with street sweepers, sewer camera inspection equipment and sewer jetter vac trucks especially helpful. Have technical acumen in order to explain the technical componentry and operation of our vehicles to customer prospects. High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid driver's license required Must have or be willing to obtain a Class B minimum CDL (MTech will train and pay for if needed) Travel required within the five-state region covered by MTech Comfortable interacting with customers and presenting equipment features Physical Requirements Ability to safely climb, enter, inspect, and operate heavy vehicles and equipment Ability to lift tools, parts, and equipment component. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and travel frequently Job Responsibilities Vehicle and equipment demonstrations in the field at customer locations. Perform technical equipment walk-arounds and explain product features, specifications, operating capabilities and benefits. Safely operate the equipment sold by MTech Ability to handle new customer operator training upon delivery Preparing trucks for delivery (pre-delivery inspections) in the case of new vehicle delivery to customers and additionally to prep vehicles prior to onsite demonstrations. Customer training on proper use of our equipment Troubleshooting and technical support Equipment maintenance and preparation Conduct in-field equipment demonstrations for prospective customers and support the sales process. Work collaboratively with MTech sales personnel during customer visits and demonstrations. Travel extensively throughout MTech's authorized sales territory Provide field support and minor troubleshooting or repairs when appropriate. Serve as a knowledgeable product resource for customers and internal team members.
