About Us Independent Restoration Services (IRS) is a fast-growing property restoration company serving homeowners and insurance carriers throughout the greater Cleveland area. We respond when people need help most — after water damage, fire, and other property losses — and we take pride in doing the job right. We're expanding our team and looking for people who come from construction, demolition, or the trades. If you know how to work hard, take direction, and take pride in your work, we'll teach you everything else. The Opportunity This position starts with a paid trial period and converts to permanent, full-time employment for strong performers. From there, there's a clear path to Lead Technician, Crew Lead, and Project Manager as we grow. We promote from within — this is a real career, not just a job. What You'll Do Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, air scrubbers) on water-loss jobs Perform demolition on residential properties affected by water or fire damage — flooring, drywall, and affected materials Support Project Managers in the day-to-day completion of restoration projects Follow job-site safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work environment Communicate professionally with homeowners and teammates on-site Document work progress through photos and field notes as directed What We're Looking For Experience in construction, demolition, carpentry, or another skilled trade (strongly preferred) Reliable and punctual — shows up ready to work, every day Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and working on your feet in varied conditions Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced field environment Team-oriented with a positive, get-it-done attitude Valid driver's license and available personal transportation Compensation & Schedule $20 - $28/hr depending on experience Full-time hours Paid trial period with fast-track path to permanent employment To Apply Submit your resume and a brief note about your background and what skills you bring to the table.
